Firework Safety

Fourth of July is right around the corner! I know everyone looks forward to the beautiful light display in the sky this time of the year. However, The National Safety council does recommend that we leave the fireworks to the professionals! If not properly trained on how to light fireworks it could cause serious injuries as well as damage to property. we have created a list of a few safety tips in case you do decide to partake in firework activities.

• Never allow young children to play with fireworks.
• Always have an adult supervise fireworks activities.
• Do not place any part of your body directly over a firework.
• Never point or throw fireworks at another person.
• Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose handy in case of fire.
• Make sure fireworks are legal in your area before buying or using them.
